Pink roses

We have no roses in our garden, never have had. No reason except that I avoid anything to do with gardening and Gordon is reluctant to grow anything he can’t eat!

So I look on in amazement as Blippers talk about roses - their colours, their scents; they all seem to have names and histories. It’s a world I know nothing about. I find it fascinating but am very happy to leave the growing and tending to others.

These roses are the gorgeous ones Gordon’s sisters (the Great Aunts) brought at the weekend. I love them but it’s not going to inspire me to start growing roses!
