Capturing my Journey

Husband called shortly after finishing my housework to say he wanted a hand drawing off cattle before they get moved. It took a bit of work but between husband and I and the other two workers we managed to pull out the 12 cows we wanted. Then I headed home for coffee and lunch before getting the mower out to mow the lawn a week since I've mowed and it had grown 2 inches. The forecast for the weekend looking a bit dreich so I weeded my beds and popped the brassica seedlings into the garden I've been holding off as night time temps are getting low but they were struggling in the pots.

When husband came home we decided to eat dinner then just get all the plants out so we weeded the big bed and planted out the corn tomatoes peas beans and courgettes and squash. We set up a frame over the tomatoes and put fleece over them to keep them warmer. The mosquitos were hell but we were determined to get it all done. Pleased to finally have the garden planted out. Now it can rain and we don't have to be out in the rain gardening.
