I had Callan all day today so husband could get on with setting up an electric fence line. The usual last minute chaos of heifers coming home from winter keep and nothing being ready first loads arriving tomorrow so it was all hands on deck to get the field they are arriving into ready. We also had a crew fitting a new culvert to the road at our house for the lorry with the cattle in to be able to come onto the ranch this way. This was plagued with problems too but they got it done in the end. I did some ecological field surveys of the fields the heifers are arriving into and two others husband is moving the cows into. It was quite the busy day. Nice to see the sunshine!
