A Plethora Of Peonies

A friend asked if folk from our Homegroup could lend a hand getting the flowers ready for her son's wedding in church on Saturday. I quickly volunteered. "What do you know about flower arranging?" asked The Man.

It isn't one of my strong skills but I liked the idea of being involved. And, although I did very little to help, I DID take a pint of milk which was much appreciated.

The mother of the groom had grown most of the things herself and the rest, like the peonies came from a local grower.

One reason I didn't help much was because I was whisked off to a stranger's house to drink coffee! Not something I would normally do but, I was keen to get to know him and his wife, they've only lived here 23 years so it's nice to welcome new-comers!
