Impressive day today, my host, who’s engaged herself in supporting the students who are demonstrating for the palestine situation by the university in Lund. Suddenly a small group of students started being violent and the area soon was full of police, restoring order. But it was chaotic for a while so I had to pick her up with my car so that she cold get out of there.

During the afternoon we listened to a concert, played in a church in Malmö, based on medeival wall paintings of deamons on the church wall. The orchestra played mainly on baroque string intruments and was partly improvised. The deamons were thoroughly described in the music. Quite interesting and impressive.

The evening was finnished off by visiting a skate-park where Elaines grandchildren was skating, having great fun. A day of contrast out of the ordinary.
