Back in business
Having, in a senior moment, thrown away all my sourdough starter last week, rather than keeping a little back, it has taken me a week to generate another one. However, last night it was bubbling away enthusiastically so I made bread this morning and the result has been very good; rounded loaves with a good crumb. The best part will be the first slice of warm bread with butter! In the morning I took Luke out for a good long walk up on the mountain and then did a tip run. This afternoon I have been watching more of the Roland Garros tennis. Luke will need another walk soon. His owners will be back tomorrow which will reduce my exercise somewhat!
