These are usually known as common blue daisies. There are lots of different wildflowers appearing now. This morning I discovered that my new sourdough starter has picked up and I should be able to make bread again tomorrow. I played tennis in the morning but the new member complained of a twinge and abandoned, leaving just three of us. It can’t have been much as he did not seem to be in any discomfort so we were surprised that he gave up. Fortunately, a visitor had been watching and wonderied if he could get a game. We supplied him with a racket and he proved to be a good player but somewhat hampered by not wearing the prop kit. However, we arranged to play with him on Monday. In the afternoon I watched some more of the French Open and took Luke for a walk down by the river. I found a place in the village where he can have a bit of a run without the risk of him dashing off onto a road. Tomorrow I will give him a proper run on the mountain.
