The Feast Day of The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
It is a lovely sunny cold morning, 12c. I have been busy with housework and cat care. Paul is reading the papers and being restful after his first time mowing the lawn after his operation. The lawn looks beautifully neat. He did well.
I am off on a walk to the canal now. There was no sign of the swans but Tabby was watching a gaggle of geese honking playfully under High St bridge. After lunch Paul and me went to the One Stop shop, and I bought a few flower pots. When we got home it was very hot in the garden. I sowed lettuce, rocket, and pansies in the new flowerpots. They are now in the greenhouse. All in all an enjoyable day.
