Wooly socks

Started with a 6m dip at 18° before going out to purchase a new iron as our one packed up yesterday. I bumped into Justine, Peter's daughter and had a lovely catch up with her. Jade has a baby boy called Teddy now, and he looks the image of Jade as a baby. Lovely to see and technically that makes me a step great grandma!!
FK went for a haircut before we left for Norfolk, listening to the first half of the FA cup on the radio. We decided to go straight to Mum's and finish watching it there, as it was chucking it down and I didn't fancy coming out again to see mum later. FK was happy it was a Man U win against City.
I wandered through the wet garden when we got to ours and was astounded how much it's changed in a fortnight. I need to do a bit of staking and Chelsea chopping, but it'll have to wait until next wknd.
It's so cold, I put my winter woolly socks on.
