Helping

Mr C headed off to pick up the boys from
Whitley Bay while I got on with house jobs till it was time to dash down through the field for the bus to Newcastle. (It was raining again).

The bus takes almost 90 minutes as it calls in to Morpeth to change drivers. I got out in Gosforth to go to Saks for the usual body maintenance. Mr C meanwhile had taken the boys to Wagamama which they all usually enjoy. James not so much this time as he was sick - fortunately he made it to the loos.

They picked me up and we came home - it was too wet to go to Cragside but when there was an interval between showers the boys helped Mr C put netting on the sweet peas to protect from pigeons while we are away. Their help made the tasks much easier.

James came in and had some “Granny breakfast” (oats, nuts and seeds with yogurt) and feels fine now. He says his football team is going to be playing in two leagues next season so he doubts there will be time for him to fit in rugby. However he wants to learn to play tennis this summer.
