Old Friends in Salisbury

Another walk down to Salisbury city, a little hanging around while L visited her favorite charity shops and a really good cappuccino at Sonder Coffee.  I always love to gaze on the magnificent cathedral, a remarkable edifice nearly 1,000 years old and held up by the force of the two rivers that run on either side.  The physics involved seems remarkable for so long ago.  The extra is of a sculpture in front of the cathedral depicting the damage done by eroding coastlines due to rising sea levels, extreme weather and global warming.

In the evening our friends from way back Paul and Hazel came up from Bournemouth to spend the evening with cocktails at the van, a lovely Indian meal at Anokaa and lots of catching up to do after not seeing each other for over 35 years.  Good times
