No mow May

This the path for pedestrians along the Gersprenz to the meadows we call "Seewiese" (lake meadow). Usually this path is wider but this year it looks like we are the only ones crossing it.
The grass is 1 metre high, so Caspar can't see anything else but grass.
Towards the time it will be mowed in a couple of weeks it is shoulder high. That is, my shoulder. 
Lovely, I admit, but my shoes were soaking wet after these 100 metres.
Everything has advantages and disadvantages.
