Wednesday

When I woke up this morning I was convinced it was 11:00. It wasn't, it was about 0730, but my internal clock has been out all day. 

The  Big Trip (in September), was paid for today, which involved a lot of juggling of credit card payments and limits. It's something we've budgeted for but hadn't really thought about the practicalities of how we were going to do it. It's all committed to now, exciting.

In the end we decided not to go to Wales next month, instead I've booked a few nights in the Lakes next week. I love it there and Himself has never been. Hopefully the weather will be kind to him.

We're having lunch with my brother and SIL tomorrow. She works in a school so has this week off and he always takes this week as well.  We're going to an Argentinian place near where our parents grew up and where both he and I used to drink  (separately, he's younger than me) when we were teenagers.

Home alone for me tonight, Himself is at some running club thing. I like my Wednesdays.
