T-Day
Transplant clinic today. The day I always get very nervous of, because I never know what my blood results are going to show. Even though they've been consistent for five years. When the doctor reminded me that it was five years now, I just find it bonkers. It still feels a recent event. Blood results will come through in the morning.
Managed a lunchtime power ramble and did a hill climb. I was surprised how quickly I flew up it, I thought I would have to stop half way. So, just being able to do that makes me think everything is going to be ok.
Had a call with my young padawan late on. The way we bounce ideas off each other is brilliant. I said to someone the other day that I love my job, what makes it so much better is enjoying working with the people that I work with. We'll catch up in person tomorrow.
Today I am thankful for:
1. Good conversations at transplant clinic with a fellow patient
2. Bouncing ideas around with young padawan
