What time is it Jude?

A much better day today, warm and sunny. We walked/cycled down to Alice Park with neighbours and Eda’s friend Madeleine.

Lots of space in this lovely park and the bikes were quite soon abandoned for running around.

We also went to the play area and availed ourselves of cafe refreshments. We stayed quite a long time and walking back up with the bikes was received a bit less enthusiastically than coming down. Here Jude had given up on her balance bike ( mummy had to carry it) and picked a dandelion ‘clock’. So we counted the ‘time’.

Back for a late lunch and time for Grace and I to get changed and walk along to Bailbrook House for an Afternoon Tea treat. Chris was left in charge!

We had a lovely tea - extra. Apparently the sweets were in Bath rugby colours! The savouries and scones were great but as usual the very fancy  and colourful ‘fancies’ were just a bit too sweet. We brought some home for the men. Nice to have a bit of time with just the two of us though.

John was taken into work this morning and Grace is going to pick him up.
