Nice Day for a Drive

I caught up with various things at home before I headed out mid-morning to Glide, Oregon which is to the east of Roseburg. It's about a three hour drive from my house. MrWK is here renovating a house so it's an ideal time to come for a visit - see if I can help and at least get to see him. Unfortunately, he isn't feeling well - a tummy thing. One might think the usual food poisoning but he's been feeling crummy for a few days now. Hopefully it's not contagious. My guess is that it's stress, but of course that doesn't make him feel better!

Since he's taking a nap and his helper (the other Jeff) is currently dismantling a rotten deck...I'm catching up on stuff on my laptop in the middle of a very unfinished kitchen. I took this photo on North Bank Road, a very windy somewhat white-knuckle road that connects Interstate 5 with Highway 138 and bypasses Roseburg. It's far more pleasant than I5 and is really pastoral. My photo, taken through the windshield, doesn't do the view justice, but I'm sure you'll understand how lovely this area is!
