Pretty Fun Start to the Week

I played golf this morning with my new ladies' club at the public course close by. I played...eh...not so great, but not the worst either. But it was fun and I walked with my newly electrified (or is it batterized?) push cart. It's quite simple - a battery and wheel assembly replace the old wheels on the push cart. Then you guide the whole thing with a remote control. Easy, right? LOL! I've got some practicing to do!

Later, my HOA held sort of an impromptu Memorial Day gathering in our common lawn area. We had games, which a few guys played, and the women mostly gathered around and ate snacks and generally caught up. It was fun. And in the midst of it all MrWK stopped by to say hi on his way out of town to Glide, where I was about 3 weeks  ago. By the time he left we were in agreement that I would come down tomorrow, which I had hoped would work out. One never knows...his schedule is so darned random.

I've done this before so now I know what to bring and where to go and what to expect. It's late now, 9:30 pm (ok late for me) and the car is mostly packed up and I think I'll be leisurely in the morning but undoubtedly will leave asap.

I stopped by my old garden and was delighted to find that these lovely Erigeron  (Seaside Daisy) species unknown were in full and happy bloom today. Often it's too warm this time of year and these poor babies don't get enough water and too much heat. But the spring has been kind to them!
