Art is for everybody
A morning dropping shopping to a lady who lives under the bridge (just noticed it's in the reflection of the blip, on the left), shopping, chasing a parcel and then seeing a friend who has recently got off the streets and has been clean from heroin for a few years. He was in tears as he talked about his workplace changing his hours to mean he's unable to carry on the job and therefore won't be able to pay rent... His life still feels so so precarious despite having a roof over his head. It was moving listening to him.
Later we had Caña Club, Todd was back as were his brother and sister in-law. Always wonderful to see them! And then later I was out with Gemma and Tracy as Tracy will be leaving in a week. We had such a wonderful evening together.
Today I'm grateful for;
1) Listening to 2 excellent podcasts today.
2) Laughter with Tracy and Gemma.
3) Walking and talking with a homeless friend this evening, someone I've not seen for a while.
