Rain nearly stopped play today. The forecasted afternoon rain started fairly early in the morning and carried on into the afternoon. I’m not supposed to get my poorly foot wet, and I was also due to meet my old friend, so eventually we improvised and taped a plastic bag around my foot (see extra). 

It was good to finally get out to see my friend. By the time we finished coffee it had mostly stopped raining so Tim and I could wander around for a bit. 

I’m really looking forward to a weekend away when we’re both feeling a bit more fit. And hopefully less rain. Hey ho!
