A quiet day in

I didn’t sleep well, mainly because I’d taken a couple of cushions to bed with me to help keep my hand elevated. I was aware of them  all night which resulted in a disturbed sleep. Getting dressed was a really lovely mission and required the help of MrM.

I spent a lot of time dipping into blip journals, catching up on what blippers were doing and awarding lots of stars. I didn’t have time to comment but at least blippers will know I’ve been taking an interest. I even managed to reply to comments on my own journal, so I’m now up to date.

Our lovely blipper friend, Mima, popped in with some eggs and stayed for a chat but didn’t have time for coffee. It was lovely to see her and the beautiful Bean dog.

The President of the Rotary Club picked us up just after 5pm to go to a director’s meeting. MrM is President-Elect from 3 July, so it was an opportunity for him to get up to speed with the work that takes place in the background to keep everything running smoothly. I enjoyed sitting in front of the fire chatting to a couple of others who also weren’t taking part in the meeting.

MrM had to cut up my apple to have with cheese and crackers at lunchtime. He presented it beautifully.
