Safe pair of hands

This is Katie who sat down next to me in a cafe this morning and we got to chatting. She is a professional footballer and used to play for Charlton women until she transferred to Brighton last year. As a lifelong Charlton supporter I was thrilled to talk to her about the game (she is a goalkeeper) and it turned out that she was down for the festival. TSM joined us and they discovered that they had very similar tastes in books. Lovely person, and vegan as well as you can see from the blip.

Some excellent stuff today. John Crace waxing satirical, and a ghastly insight into the prospect of another Trump term.  I also saw David Runciman talking about the human tendency to outsource itself to corporations, states and now AI. We even managed to charge the car.
