Dinner

We went out tonight to the Aviator pub. The food was very good. We were cheapskates and went for the Early bird menu. The pub is built where the aircraft factory A V Roe used to be. They built the Vulcan bomber there amongst other planes.
Rather amusingly, they added the next table’s bill to ours. We did spot it was a bit steep, £111! We had a good laugh with them about it. The guy asked where we were going tomorrow. I missed the opportunity to say it’s his turn to pay. Why do you always think of a reposte 5 minutes later?
