Anns a' choile
My "walk" walks (as opposed to walking to/from a particular place) have been haphazard of late and so in order to address that I am going to aim to do at least one "proper" walk during the week and another at weekends.
I started this today with a stroll though the Black Spout Woods, a long-time favourite. They were very green - the bracken has really shot up. I used the Merlin app to identify bird sounds (mainly wrens and chaffinches and one buzzard). I also was rather taken by the small carving which you can see on the direction sign.
I went to the farside where a BMX track appeared a few years back. For the first time I saw people using it.
Back home I did some gardening, including planting my sunflower seedlings. I worked on my u3a website this afternoon - all u3as on sitebuilder are moving to wordpress. I have been impressed by the approach taken - good training, instructions & support provided by the volunteers. Our small one is nearly finished.
My Gaelic song class beckons - that and my yoga class tomorrow means I am missing book group tonight. I am sure others will document it on blip.
