Grooving with Myrtle Brown

We cheered, watched, ate dinner, and even danced to Myrtle Brown and the Executive Groove where they played at the Ilani Casino's Motown Monday. I, typically, didn't want to go, but did, and had fun. I mean, I'd always rather stay home switching to sweats about 7 pm, counting the minutes until I can reasonably go to bed. But Brown is a vocalist with Eric's swing band and he loves supporting her wherever she performs. The group is really good and it is always good to hear those tunes; who among us can resist The Temptations? Smoky Robinson? And then to have such excellent musicians to watch and listen to? I'm glad I went.
