It's a MacPhail

Lots of driftwood washed up on the beach and local artist Paul MacPhail has been busy making some of his driftwood sculptures. Spoke to him later and he said it is hard to resist when there is so much building material littered across the sand. He has a specific structure to get the 'trees' started, based on a few key pieces of wood that are just the right shape to interlock. Once that base is established it is relatively straightforward to add the rest. He says. Looks very skilled to me!
