Memorial Day in DC

We were trying to go to the Poppy Wall of Honor, but it was removed yesterday. What a disappointment. It never occurred to me that they would take it down before Memorial Day. The main is taken at the WWII Memorial which is celebrating its 20th anniversary. The extra is at the Korean War Memorial. It was closed for a ceremony, so this is as close as I could get. My dad served in both WWII and Korea.
