Colour

Early swim as part of large group to meet a politician. The Bray Swimmers would like a shelter built, water testing (and reported all year round) and stricter dog walking regulations on the beach. We met Fergal ( won’t give his surname as don’t want to influence any BrayBlippers in their voting choices) but he listened attentively and took notes.

So I left the house at 6.30am and there was already a big crowd on the beach when I got there. Poor Fergal was surrounded by a large bunch of swimmers in their togs all fired up full of vim and vigour.

I have had my swim now and kettle is on. I am now also full of vim and vigour as I prepare for art class with my students.

This evening I am invited to say a poem at public literary evening. This is what I have chosen.
