When the deep purple falls over sleepy garden walls

The song Deep Purple started as an instrumental in 1933 and lyrics were added in 1938. It has been recorded by a number of singers across the decades, and the band were named after (it was Richie Blackmore's Grandmother's favourite song).

Mr & Mrs Woodman spent the afternoon in the garden, but Mr Woodman forgot his suncream! He's already started to turn red, not purple. They spent some time looking at the sweet peas, which are purple!
