Scratching that itch

Woke up at 6 with the sun shining through the curtains, so up I got and out to the reserve - which was delightfully empty of people.  Just a nice couple with their binoculars, and me!  This little girl was right beside the boardwalk, eating breakfast, but had to stop for an comprehensive ear-itch.  Such sweet and funny creatures.

The rest of the day has been same-old, same-old, but at least the sun has shone for quite a lot of it.  I did try to find something in town to wear to my aunt's 90th birthday party next weekend, but perhaps my heart wasn't in it becase I came away empty-handed.  And I'm planning a return trip to Lymington later in the week.
