Two of the five

The recent heavy rain has all but flattened my poppies so this morning I headed to the Rouken Glen to buy some plant supports which I hope will keep the poppies off the earth.

I then I headed up to the pond to check on the cygnets. All five seem to be thriving and dad was happy to keep watch on his little family from the comfort of the water ..... not much room between the stones for dad to be comfortable.

On my way home I called in at the M&S Foodhall for some shopping. A very pleasant surprise ..... shopping was free thanks to my Sparks Card ...... just wish I had spent more than £14.55!
