Now, as I see it......

Arosa

Today we got this train up to Arosa, which sits at 1775 metres above sea level.  A beautiful journey with some fantastic views and vertiginous drops at the side of the train.  Arosa itself was very attractive but very much a winter sports and summer walking town, so there were few people around and most of the shops were shut and not due to open until mid-June.

We had a walk around the lake in town, from where I took the first extra shot.  My main shot shows our train heading back down to Chur; we spent an hour or so in Arosa and got the next one back down again.  On arrival in and leaving Chur, the train travels for a mile or so along the roads in town which is an unusual experience; the second extra sees us negotiating a junction.
