Sweet William/Dianthus barbatus

I couldn't resist buying this little bunch of Sweet William in the village shop.  Grown by someone in their garden in the village the money goes to charity.  They take me back to my childhood along with wallflowers and buddelia, the latter two used to grow in the bomb sites just up the road where we were living on the way to the shops.  Such a long time ago, the land was developed into new houses soon after and now one wouldn't know the destruction had ever happened.

Supper at T's.  He did finish covering up the silage last night and was in just after 10 pm - a very long day for all of them but all set for the winter!
