Pre-wedding celebration...

As part of our wedding gift to our nephew Andrew and his fiancee Nikki, we invited them up to take them out for dinner and to stay over and go out for lunch tomorrow, without Esme, so a child free day and a half :-)) Esme couldn't have come anyway, she has a slime party to go to tomorrow.

It was such a beautiful afternoon.  When they arrived we poured drinks and headed outside to sit in the garden.  I think it's the first time since Esme was born that we've had the chance to get together with them without her, so it was lovely to see them able to relax, which was one of the aims of the visit.

We were so relaxed we lost track of time but managed to make it to our local Italian restaurant on time.  F, the owner was there to welcome us and it was lovely to catch up with him.

As ever the food was delicious and the atmosphere welcoming and relaxed.  It was lovely hearing about the wedding plans.  Everything seems to be organised, just need a lovely sunny day as they are getting married on the banks of Loch Lomond.  Seven weeks to go!  :-))
