Red Kite

There has been a large influx of Red Kite to Cornwall over the last few weeks - an annual happening I am told. I was pleased to see five near Penzance the other day until I was told 513 were counted past Pendeen last week!
This one was just enjoying the fruits of a tractor turning the soil on the Land's End peninsula.
Neighbours around for drinks today - very genial.
