3436.Memories….

We were getting ready to go to a neighbour’s 70th birthday party this morning and hubby pulled out a couple of jackets to try on as he hasn’t worn them for years.  He found this metro ticket in the pocket of the jacket he chose to wear…it’s from our 2016 trip to Australia!  He obviously hasn’t worn the jacket since then….and may be it will make a return trip there this year…who knows?

The party was in Edinburgh and we were giving some other neighbours a lift there, as it was pouring with rain we set off a little earlier than planned and the rain was torrential all the way there.

It was a lovely get together and we had a good chat with lots of people we’d never met before and stayed around 3 hours before heading home (in the torrential rain!).

We’re back home now and I’m shattered, I’m sorry I haven’t been keeping up with journals…I will try!
