Another Model

It has rained on and off pretty much all day so walking was restricted to a quick jaunt around the village between showers. I mostly spent the morning fettling my latest model - and decided that I have now finished. This one has been hand painted rather than airbrushed :-)

It is a Sherman Firefly - as used by Allied troops invading Normandy during WW2. 

This model is 1:72 scale - and the main hull of the tank is about 9 cm long (3.5 inches) and is physically less than half the size of my previous models (it was a smaller tank..and the model is half the scale of the others)!
