We had a light shower first thing and a few heavy spots mid-afternoon, but apart from that it's been warm and sunny.

Lots of gardening done.  JJ cut the blocks of Laurel and I did the lawn edging in the front garden, plus pulling up some of the leaves of the spring bulbs.  After JJ thought he'd finished I went and cleared up all the chopped up bits of Laurel he'd left in the borders.  He's now sulking because I told him he'd only done half a job.

We have a pair of roses either side of the front bay window which are starting to flower and will do so for most of the summer.
