Still at it

JJ went off to play golf with grandson No. 1 and I waited in for a neighbour round the corner to call regarding the proposals to turn The Mansion into a hotel.  Said neighbour's property is adjacent to the gravel drive which runs a couple of hundred yards up to the house behind a fence and extremely high conifer hedge. 

Whilst the parish council has raised no objections, they didn't consult with the people closest to The Mansion who will be impacted by this should it host weddings lasting several days.  

We are not objecting to the change of use, just putting our concerns in writing to the Borough.

I've done a little gardening and also been over the back, which is pretty much a jungle, to see if there was much insect life around, and the answer's, not a lot.  I have added a couple of extras of a fat legged flower beetle in the air and a tiny damselfly.
