One of the new ones

Over the weekend Andrew picked up the cows we bought, one with a new calf, and a reasonable looking red bull. We bought the whole mob (herd) from a neighbour. They are all British breed types, a mixture of Hereford, Angus, and this boy looks like a Murray Grey. We have the weaned calves here at The Meadows and took the cows and bull to Hiram’s, back towards Dubbo. Most of them are quiet. A few of the older cows were temperamental about being yarded. My job was to scan the ear tags.
