Who said I'd lost my head?

Couldn't resist snapping this greenfinch through the kitchen window this morning. Not sure if it's a female or a juvenile, but it was enjoying tucking into the sunflower seeds.

Spent all afternoon and evening at Family B's house where we're having a sleepover. Unfortunately, LMB wasn't very well and spent nearly all day sleeping. She is now feeling a lot better and (touchwood!) keeping food down, but is very late to bed because of having slept all day. It's now past my bedtime, but there we go! It's lovely spending time with the little ones.  

I helped little Miss B create a newspaper heading on a folded sheet of A4, announcing that the young master had taken his first few steps unaided. She loved doing the writing and the picture on the 'front page' and then carried on to add further pictures and writing by herself.

When the 18-month-old young master went to bed, his mum suggested he say goodnight to everyone, at which point he looked at his sister and gave her a lovely wave before heading upstairs at great speed on his hands and knees.
