In the midst of houses

Because the weather was so nice a walk in Glasgow's west end was on the agenda.

This building is another great example of Glasgow's past. Though it looks imposing and grand it is located in a normal street of the main Sauchiehell Street. There are many such gems around the city.

In the past, there must have been so much money in Glasgow when merchants traded the goods coming in from the Clyde that, I'm guessing, these buildings could have been afforded to be built.

Pretty amazing.
