All the blues

Being a foot passenger on the Newhaven - Dieppe ferry has got to be one of the more delightful ways to travel. Less than a bus full of us politely moved along onto the ferry and then off the other end with a head count at each stage. It must be what air travel was like 60 years ago. A wonderfully easy and restful journey, a taxi into Dieppe and to our very nice Airbnb above an ice cream shop. Dieppe is a very lovely town, and what a beautifully sunny evening. We had a little wander with drinks, snacks and a fine fishy dinner. Lots of fun and laughing, a lovely day.
