Between Stoke on Trent and Nuneaton

Manchester day trip, an excellent day actually. Normal time of morning departure (instead of the 4am of my last trip), highly productive meetings all afternoon. Got to meet a top colleague I have worked with for over 18 months. Beautifully sunny day. Made me miss my previous occasional office visits and face to face meetings a bit actually. And the train journeys- love them for all the reading I can get done. Struggled to the end of the book I have been reading for about a month ( Beyond Black. Hilary Mantel is really not for me. Left it on the train for someone who may like it more than me). Thoroughly enjoying my new one- The Marriage Portrait by Maggie O’Farrell.

Eta Worthing, after 10pm. Suspect I will be less bouncy by then.
