Granny bonnet

This morning I played bowls in the park then did shopping and went to the library to change my books.

The traffic was terrible around Oswestry, the by-pass was at a standstill.  It's a sign that it's bank holiday weekend and schools have broken up for half term.  Lots of people making for North Wales, I'll be keeping well away from those roads!

I have a few granny bonnets or aquilegia in my garden - they self seed freely but they're very pretty.  This fancy one is a welcome addition.
