W Is For Wisteria
I had read that Tatton Park had wisteria so was looking forward to blipping it. Our local Social Club had organised a trip today so we went... in the rain. We got wet but we had a wonderful day around the garden and mansion.
This isn't a photo of something wonderful, but a picture of something that could be fantastic if it was properly looked after. This wall full of wisteria should be pruned twice a year, in summer after flowering, and in winter, while dormant. This specimen hasn't been pruned for about 2 years and last night's rain hasn't helped. I had to use someone else's I'd had my eye on, to get the inserted shot.
Some of my prettier shots are in Extras.
