Poor Mrs Swan!

She's still sitting on those seven eggs and looking fairly bedraggled today, not surprising really considering the deluge we had yesterday and the day before. We are now getting heavy showers. I wanted to check that the nest hadn't been flooded and was glad that the water level had been high when they were building it. There's certainly plenty of water where there shouldn't be and who knows how long it's going to take to subside. I waded through the flood on the path near the nest, but didn't try to go anywhere else as the path was under water.
