ah, Life

An up and down sort of day. Highlights:

Was feeling overwhelmed by the mess that surrounds me, and frustrated by my reliance on others necessitating waiting for days to get stuff done when Abu showed up with his bro the electrician and two other workers and by the end of the morning most of the jobs I've been waiting for have been done. 

Energized by the progress, I had a very productive few hours at the end of which downstairs actually looks like home on Day 3 !  Then early evening, the pool man came and within half an hour, the hose he bought for me was attached and filling the pool.  Apparently, it'll take a couple of days and I am not going to think about the water bill, only about the fact that I'll be able to use my own little pool any time I want. Yay. Visitors welcome.

An evening stroll with Rufus along the sea front, and then collecting a veggie Pide (Turkish pizza) at Unuvar which I ate on my patio with a beer, ah life!
