What matters to me
We arrived at the hospital to see Ray at 7.00am after a call at 5.00am, to say that her condition had changed for the worse, and what seemed like a 100mph journey in the driving rain. She is now receiving palliative care only.
Tom, Helen and Rhea were already there and then Ian, Caillan and finally Sam and James who flew from London arriving late afternoon.
I was very moved by this white board above the bed, routine information collected on admission.
She’s hanging on in there for the moment.
