My friend Ron needed a portrait photo for a website, so our plan was to walk to the top of Rivey Hill where I could photograph him with a sky (non-busy) background as I don't have studio equipment.  

However, we hadn't anticipated the bright afternoon sunshine and the effect on his reactor-light glasses!  Hmm.

No matter, we found some shade instead and it was fun standing in the field catching up with news whilst we waited for his glasses to clear... taking a few snaps until they were too dark...and repeat.

Of course when I got the photos into Lightroom I found I could easily lighten up his glasses using the mask tool,  it really is powerful photo editing software and I have much to learn.
