Another wet day
I was too hyped up with the performance to go to bed before 1am. I slept till 6 then put on a podcast and my eye mask and next thing I knew was Mr C bringing me a cup of tea and saying I’d better get up as it was 10.30am. Totally unheard of for me to sleep so long!
Luckily it was pouring and the U3A walk was cancelled because I’d missed it anyway!
We spent ages researching our options for the election on 4 July - our constituency has had boundary changes so we have a dilemma. Our Tory MP is now unpopular with moderate Tories but they’ll either not vote or vote LibDem. But with the new areas it gives Labour more chance. A split vote won’t get the awful woman out - but which way to go?
The blip is taken en route to Stanton where Mr C was in search of some kale plants but we were too late. I got bedding plants for my pots though they won’t get well-looked after this year as we are away in the van all of June and just back for the election.
I suggested friends come here for the results but Linda wants to reprise her 1997 party. We didn’t have a party in Suffolk as I was at Carole’s count. She was reduced the Tory majority by 20,000 votes.
Thank you for all the kind comments, stars and hearts for Nathaniel yesterday
